Fiercely Defended.
Our Process
Initial Consultation
Your initial consultation can take place in person, by phone, or through video conference—whatever is most convenient for you. During this meeting, we will discuss the facts of your case, review any charges or court paperwork, answer your questions, and explain your legal options. We will also discuss possible defense strategies, what to expect moving forward, and the next steps if you choose to retain counsel. The goal is to give you clear guidance, honest answers, and a practical plan from the very beginning.
Initial Appearance/Arraignment
At your initial appearance or arraignment in Ohio criminal court, the judge will formally advise you of the charge or charges against you, explain your constitutional rights, and address bond or conditions of release. In many cases, the court will also ask for a plea of guilty, not guilty, or no contest. If you have not retained counsel, the court may discuss your right to appointed counsel if you qualify. This hearing is usually brief, but it is an important first step in protecting your rights and preparing your defense.
Strong Representation
A strong criminal defense is critical because even a single charge can have lasting consequences. A conviction may result in jail, fines, probation, a permanent criminal record, loss of employment opportunities, professional licensing issues, and damage to your reputation. In traffic-related cases, convictions can also add points to your driver’s license, leading to increased insurance rates, license suspension, or even the loss of driving privileges. Early, strategic representation can make a meaningful difference in protecting your freedom, your record, and your future.
